BREAKING THE MOLD…AGAIN!

Seniors are at it again, changing the definition of retirement of old to a new set of rules, wants and needs.

They have discovered that there’s much more to retirement life today than playing golf every morning. Today beach retirement and retiring on a golf course are no longer at the top of the food chain for desirable retirement lifestyles.  In fact, many baby boomers set to retire don’t even consider playing golf important.

Seniors today are searching for like-minded people to grow old with at a variety of retirement spots that cater to their lifestyles . Many are wine aficionados, or want to learn to cook Chinese!

Golf courses and ocean views are no longer the only things that draw people to retirement communities. In fact, baby boomers may not even play golf like earlier retirees who couldn’t wait to retire to a golf community.

Today many seniors are flocking to niche retirement communities that cater to boomers and other senior citizens who share interests and cultures, ranging from Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, seniors who always wanted to be on stage and R.V. owners to sculptors, painters and musicians,  people who love to hunt and fish,  communities that cater to people who speak a foreign language, and others who want to go back to college. There are even communities that cater to same-sex couples.

You don't have to settle for a traditional retirement community or lifestyle any more....
